Friday 5 with a Council Member!

A new initiative to meet all the board members, as we’re unable to meet and/or travel to other States for events. Will ‘meet’ the Council members over the next 8 weeks.

Who are you? Kevin Heggen from Hedley Range Red Angus based in Binginwarri, Victoria. My wife Libby and I have been running Red Angus cattle for over 20 years. I’m the current President of the Red Angus Society.

What are you excited about for the next month in the Red Angus breed? The Victorian On Farm Challenge – visiting 17 studs across 3 days.

Favourite Red Angus Memories? Travelling around to the different States along with the Bolands and the Bootes visiting members and their cattle. Great way to see different areas of the country but also meet people who share a common interest – cattle and in particular Red Angus.

What’s your favourite meal? Juicy scotch fillet steak (Red Angus of course), with a glass of single malt whisky.

Who’s going to win the 2020 NRL Grand Final? Go the Storm!!!
