About The NH Foods Angus Youth Roundup
The NH Foods Angus Youth Roundup will be held at the Australian Equine and Livestock Exhibition Centre (AELEC) in Tamworth, NSW, from January 8-12, 2025.
Open to participants aged 8 to 25, the Roundup provides a chance for young people from diverse backgrounds to deepen their knowledge of cattle husbandry and the agricultural sector.
Spanning four days, the event will feature a variety of educational sessions on the beef supply chain, cattle classes, junior judging, paraders, the chute-to-showring competition, and the popular Barnyard Olympics.

How to Enter:
To be eligible for the scholarship, we’d love to get to know you better. Please answer the following questions into a cover letter and resume:
- Full name, membership ID, email and phone
- Are you at school? If so where? Or are you at University/studying and if so what is your degree?
- What are your career aspirations?
- Describe your involvement with both the beef industry and the Red Angus breed.
- What is the strengths of the Red Angus breed?
- Explain any major achievements you have obtained in the beef and/or agricultural industry.
- What do you hope to gain from attending the NH Foods Angus Youth Roundup?
